Is SARO a Singapore taxi app?
No – we are not a mass-market ride-hailing or taxi app. SARO is a premium chauffeur service which provides tailored private transfers in Singapore.
Unlike the standard app-based taxis that rely on algorithm-driven surge pricing and unpredictable service standards, SARO operates on a guaranteed fixed-rate system with zero hidden fees and a 100% ride-fulfillment rate.
Can I book transfers on behalf of my guests from overseas?

Can my chauffeur wait for me between destinations?
Yes – this would be considered an hourly chauffeur service (by-the-hour), where both a vehicle and a dedicated chauffeur will be at your disposal. You can direct your driver on the move and travel to multiple locations across Singapore during your booked hours – all for a single, transparent flat rate.
Note: Point-to-point city transfers include a 15-minute complimentary waiting window. You can add multiple pick-up or drop-off locations to your booking at an additional charge per stop.
Can I request for the same driver again?
Absolutely. We understand the comfort of traveling with a familiar chauffeur. While driver assignments depend on real-time availability, you can simply request your preferred driver under remarks when booking. We will do our absolute best to assign them to you.
Are there surcharges during peak hours?
Not at all – SARO operates on a guaranteed flat-rate system. While local taxis penalise you with a 25% peak hour surcharge and a 50% late-night fare increase, our price remains upfront and fixed at any hour of the day.
Note: When taking taxis in Singapore, you are also required to pay for ERP (Toll) fees, alongside location-based surcharges for pick-ups at Changi Airport and the Central Business District (CBD). With SARO, your upfront fare eliminates all these unpredictable hidden costs.
Can I book transfers between Singapore and Malaysia?
Yes – we handle transfers between Singapore and West-Malaysia. However, cross-border transfers are reviewed individually and rates are quoted upon request only. Contact our support team to enquire on the availability and quotation.
